31 DIY projects in 31 days – Day Twenty-Four

Day Twenty-Four – Melted Crayon Art. I love this DIY project. Super easy, fast and fun art.

Inspiration:

{whatever} Great tutorial on whatever.

{pinterest} I love that they framed it!

{pinterest} Using a glue gun. Cool effect.

Materials: Canvas, crayons, glue gun and a hair blow dryer.

All my crayons in a pretty little row and ready to go.

I used my blow dryer on high heat, but the lowest blowing level. Isn’t the glitter crayon in the middle fun.

I decided to tape off the edges and remove the crayons off the top {as suggested on apartment therapy}. I put a strip of tape across the top and hot glued the crayons to the tape for easy removal. Which also leaves me with a strip of crayons ready to go for another canvas.

Tada! The finished work of crayon art.
